TD Orchestra is exploring possible collaborations and projects in Brazil with our partner organization WorldWide Musicians United (WWMU), and with TD Orchestra members who are based in São Paulo, during a January 2025 tour to South America (Colombia, Ecuador, Bolivia, Peru and Brazil). One of these includes possible involvement of TD Orchestra in an iteration of a possible WWMU "Silent Forest" concert in Brazil, a project that combines technology, ecology and social action to establish a connection between music and nature.

Another avenue of possible collaboration is via the Flutopia Initiative, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in the United States that fundraises for charities. A family connection between TD Orchestra and the Flutopia Initiative has led to some discussions about activities during TD Orchestra's South America tour in January, as some of the orchestra members have existing connections through their research or work that would enable us to start long-term interdisciplinary collaborations and projects in the country, as well as to have joint concerts with local artists.
